word of the day prompt- ulterior
Ulterior
“Going beyond what is openly said or shown and especially what is proper.”
And they all gathered around the table.
As it was prepared with candles and chamomile tea, pumpkins, squash, and warm greens.
Bellies full of romantic feasts. A grateful plating from the high priestess.
Stone and two pillars. Eleven mlles long. Centuries deep. And a love that is deeper than the ocean.
So, she so wished.
More than anything in the lands, the forest lush and golden.
Around her cave-like garden where she would host neighboring fairies for tea.
She kept little gemstones in a safe place within a crystal vase.
She had a meticulous way of carrying about her daily routines.
She would need to wake up with the east facing sun, and immediately, with calm gratitude, drink water.
She would need to tune into a love frequency of 528hz.
After waking up slowly, breathing, and stretching, she would need to go back to sleep for one hour and eleven minutes. Not a minute over, or a minute too soon.
Once this daily ritual took place, she was able to start her day.
She wrapped herself in her Nana’s old linens. She prayed during mornings’ kiss, afternoons’ embrace, and night falls’ sweet dreams afloat.
She wished the love of her life, and her soulmate divine would show themselves to her. She wished it with all of the galaxies inside.
It seemed the fairies around were so helpful in keeping the community safe. Igniting the magic and sparkle with all. All She could do was day dream of her romance. She felt in a way this was needed in her life. To reach her hearts nth degree. This is what was needed for her to share her heart expansively evermore with others. Yes. it was certain. She had to find her soulmate.
“How would she go about it?”
She felt it was a bit taboo but she wanted to spend time with her desires and cares and passions of why in which this soulmate path was so important to her in her inherent existence. Delicately pulling her hair back.
She invited the neighbors over during the full moon and sat them all at the table. She used her best penmanship in writing each name with care and detail. Unknown to the guest below each of their plates had written an intention, an incantation, a letter of free will, so that she and her soulmate could find each other.
Then night filled with roars and cheer, a rich banquet of dancing broke loose onto the tables and hall. Cheers and cheers of cheer echoed for generations and generations.
And she fell in love…
